Botox
How Botox Works
Botox is one of the most trusted and widely performed treatments in aesthetics for good reason. It works by temporarily relaxing the small muscles responsible for repetitive facial expressions like squinting, frowning, and raising the brows. Over time, those repeated movements create creases that become more permanent, and Botox intercepts that process by softening the muscle activity before lines have a chance to deepen.
The treatment involves a small number of precisely placed injections that take only a few minutes to complete. There is no downtime, and most clients head straight back to their day. Results begin to appear within a few days and settle into their full effect over two weeks, leaving the face looking refreshed and relaxed without any frozen or overdone appearance when done well.
What Can Botox Treat?
Botox is most commonly associated with forehead lines, the eleven lines between the brows, and crow's feet around the eyes. But it is also used for a number of other concerns including a lip flip for subtle enhancement of the upper lip, masseter reduction to slim a square or clenched jawline, brow lifting, bunny lines on the nose, and hyperhidrosis, which is excessive sweating under the arms or on the palms.
At Skin Lobby, every Botox treatment is approached as something personal. The goal is never to make someone look like they've had work done, but to help each client look like the best, most rested version of themselves. Your provider will take the time to understand your anatomy and your goals before placing a single injection.

Here is what Botox can do for you at Skin Lobby.

When will I see results?
Most clients see full results within seven to fourteen days. The first few days after treatment may show some initial softening, but the full effect takes about two weeks to settle in.
How long does Botox last?
Results typically last three to four months. With regular treatments, many clients find that their results last longer over time as the muscles become less active.
Does it hurt?
The injections are done with a very fine needle and take only a few minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick pinch. Ice can be applied beforehand to minimize discomfort.
Is Botox safe?
Yes. Botox is one of the most studied cosmetic treatments in the world and has an excellent safety profile when administered by a trained provider.
