VI Peel
What Is the VI Peel?
The VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel that stands apart from spa-level peels because of the depth and specificity of its formulation. It contains a synergistic blend of ingredients including trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, phenol, and vitamin C, each chosen to work together to resurface the skin, stimulate cellular turnover, and target some of the most common and stubborn skin concerns from a single application.
The peel is applied in-office and left on for four to six hours before being removed at home. What follows over the next several days is a controlled exfoliation process where the outer layers of the skin shed to reveal fresher, more even skin beneath. The process sounds more intense than it feels, and most clients are pleasantly surprised by how manageable it is.
What Concerns Does It Address?
The VI Peel is effective for a wide range of concerns including uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, acne and acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, and overall dullness. One of its most appreciated qualities is that it is formulated to be safe and effective for all skin types and tones, including those that can be more reactive to traditional chemical peels.
It is also available in several targeted formulas, so your provider can select the version that best matches your specific concerns. Whether you are dealing with persistent pigmentation, active breakouts, or simply want to hit the reset button on your skin's overall appearance, there is a VI Peel formulation designed to help. Results are visible after a single treatment, though many clients choose to peel seasonally or as part of a broader skin health protocol.

Is the VI Peel safe for all skin tones?
The VI Peel is safe for all skin types and tones, including Fitzpatrick types IV through VI. It is specifically formulated to minimize the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation that can occur with other peels on darker skin.
What does the peeling process actually look like?
Peeling typically begins on day three or four and completes by day seven. During that time skin may feel tight and flaky, but the actual discomfort is minimal.
Are there different VI Peel formulas?
Yes. The VI Peel comes in several formulations targeting different concerns, including acne and breakout-prone skin, signs of aging, pigmentation and melasma, and overall brightening. Your provider will recommend the right formula for you.
What does aftercare involve?
Sun avoidance and the use of SPF are essential during the healing process. Your provider will send you home with a post-peel kit and detailed aftercare instructions.
