Xeomin

Xeomin is a neurotoxin that works the same way as Botox and Dysport but with one meaningful distinction: it contains only the active botulinum toxin without any of the accessory proteins found in other formulations. This makes it what is often called a naked neurotoxin, and for some clients it is the preferred option because the cleaner formulation reduces the likelihood of developing antibodies that can diminish results over time with repeated treatments.

Like other neurotoxins, Xeomin works by temporarily interrupting the signal between the nerve and the muscle, causing the treated muscle to relax. This softens the lines that form from repeated facial expressions and creates a more rested, refreshed appearance. The treatment itself is quick and comfortable, with results that develop over the following week or two.

Xeomin treats the same areas as other neurotoxins, including forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet, and it can also be used for off-label applications like brow lifting, lip flip, jaw slimming, and hyperhidrosis.
